The mission of this event is to empower & inspire women, as well as create an experience to connect the women of Wayne County & surrounding counties with small businesses by offering a professional development, women-focused, educational, networking opportunity.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Jonelle Marie Carter

Singer-songwriter Jonelle Marie joins bandmates Terry Carter and Kyle Ripsch in an intimate combination of smooth harmonies and deep, soul-stirring lyrics. Jonelle Marie broke onto the airways in 2004 with her first album "Listen" receiving over 200,000 downloads of her first single, "Not Your Doll" and becoming DSN's top-downloaded artist of the year in 2005.

Angie lives in Wooster with her husband, John & earned a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University. She was Wayne County’s 2017 Woman of the Year and her business, Empower Training & Assessment Co., was Ohio’s Small Business Development Center’s Small Business of the Year in 2014. She is a member of the Elks, a Trustee for the Wayne County Business Referral Group, a Wooster Citizen’s Police Academy Board Member, & the founder of The Power of Her®. Her professional interests focus on protecting the best interest of children, & the professional development of small businesses & leaders.
